Effective date: June 27, 2026. These terms describe the current account, billing, publishing, and service rules for WeT1D.
WeT1D provides logging, estimation, educational, notification, and community features to support diabetes self-management workflows. It is not emergency guidance, not a substitute for licensed medical care, and not a guarantee of safe treatment decisions.
You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure, providing accurate information, and reviewing all recommendations before making treatment decisions.
If you create or manage an under-18 account, you are responsible for safeguarding the parent access code and supervising how the app is used on that device.
Food-photo estimates, nutrient totals, confidence indicators, reminders, and dose calculations are decision-support outputs only. They may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
You agree to independently verify food quantities, glucose readings, insulin settings, insulin-on-board assumptions, and final dose decisions against your care plan before acting.
You may not misuse the service, interfere with other users, reverse engineer or abuse rate-limited features, upload unlawful or exploitative content, or publish content you do not have the right to share.
You may not use WeT1D to harass, stalk, impersonate, or expose another person, including through photos, comments, reviews, recipes, Battle Buddy messages, or public submissions.
Except for user content you lawfully submit, WeT1D and its licensors retain all rights in the app, code, UI, copy, branding, prompts, models-integration logic, workflows, documentation, and non-user content.
You may not copy, clone, scrape, train on, republish, resell, mirror, frame, automate extraction from, reverse engineer, or create derivative competing services from protected WeT1D materials except where a signed written agreement expressly allows it.
Subject to these terms, WeT1D grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for its intended purpose.
This license ends automatically if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or access the platform in a way that threatens users, infrastructure, or WeT1D intellectual property.
If paid plans or one-time AI estimate packs are enabled, pricing and billing terms will be disclosed at checkout. Access to premium AI usage limits may change if billing fails or a subscription ends.
Promotions, discounts, and trial access may be limited, modified, or withdrawn in cases of abuse, billing reversal, policy violation, or operational necessity.
If you choose to save a food photo to the public Carb Dictionary, you are requesting publication of that content and the generated nutrition estimate for broader browsing inside the app.
Under-18 and parental-mode accounts are not permitted to publish Carb Dictionary entries while those protections are active.
Recipes, comments, ratings, reviews, made-it photos, and other community content may be moderated, removed, hidden, rate-limited, or reported if they create safety, privacy, legal, or trust concerns.
You control whether your device grants camera and notification permissions. If you enable notifications, WeT1D may send account, community, recipe, and Battle Buddy alerts to your device even when the app is closed.
You are responsible for managing device-level lock-screen visibility, shared-device privacy, and notification settings appropriate to your environment.
WeT1D may suspend or limit accounts, content, notifications, AI access, or public posting privileges to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, manage cost exposure, or preserve platform integrity.
You may stop using the service at any time. Some records may remain in backups, audit logs, billing records, or security logs for legal, operational, and fraud-prevention reasons.
WeT1D may investigate complaints involving infringement, scraping, counterfeit apps, copied landing pages, impersonation, or unauthorized reuse of protected materials and may issue takedown requests, platform complaints, suspension actions, or other enforcement measures.
The service is provided on an as-available and as-configured basis. Features may change, pause, or be unavailable due to outages, moderation actions, quota limits, billing state, or infrastructure dependencies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeT1D disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or reliance-based damages arising from use of the service.
