What is WeT1D for?
WeT1D helps people with Type 1 diabetes capture meals quickly, estimate carbs and basic nutrients from food photos, review history, and keep dose-support workflows in one place.
Do I need to enter therapy settings right away?
No. Therapy settings are optional for the app overall, but they are required before WeT1D calculates an insulin dose.
Are my photos public by default?
No. Food photos stay private unless you intentionally publish an eligible example to the Carb Dictionary or share an estimate-backed image with selected Battle Buddies.
Is WeT1D a replacement for medical care?
No. It is a support workflow for logging, estimation, and review. Users should verify recommendations against their care plan and clinician guidance.
